Adaptive Leadership (AL)
Our focus is on improving TEAMS and LEADERS so that the workplace culture, employee engagement, and leadership accountability will thrive. There are different ways of accomplishing this and each organization has unique needs. It may help to break down what this looks like when you partner with TEAL Coaching & Consulting. The three methods described below are used in combination to bring each organization a customized services package.
Consulting involves assessment, recommendations, and formal reports. It is both a first step, a final wrap-up, and many things in-between. Consulting allows for collaborative planning to clearly establish the desired outcomes, how they will be achieved, and what materials or final products will be made available to the organization.
Coaching involves one-to-one or small group guidance for leaders. It is focused on behavior change and skill development in alignment with identified goals. Collaboration and transparency with next-level leadership occurs when identifying coaching goals upfront, and assessing progress. Yet there are clear boundaries that provide appropriate confidentiality for the coaching participant(s).
Facilitation involves design and management of a collaborative process where the group is guided in their participation to achieve a specific goal or outcome. Expert facilitation provides an inclusive experience for participants that navigates through challenging dynamics, while maintaining focus and progress towards the stated desired outcomes. Facilitation can be in-person or virtual.
